If you were born north of the Mason-Dixon line, this may look like nasty slop. Actually, I admit it does look like nasty slop. But this is sausage gravy the way my Grandfather used to make it. Thanks to Aunt Jenny for the tips, I was able to replicate the recipe this morning, which by the way, is way more difficult to get right than one would think.
